Front End Activation

Hi Im trying to activate users from front end. I think I have - enabled k2 users, frontend editing, but I cant seem to understand how to get k2 users assigned to k2 groups. And there doesnt seem to be anyway to activate an upload story pane. Do I need to upload an extension or something? Im very confused.
I want users to be able to upload stories without having to login to the back end. I just want them to login the front end and be able to upload from there and edite there own category and add to others via comments. Easy enough you would think but I cant find how to do it. Please give some direction where I can find a tutorial on how to do this?

there is one small problem, we don't support K2.

Also on youtube.com I saw over 20 movies about how to use K2

ok, small tip:

You have to assign users to selected group from back-end only.

You have to add & publish K2 user module

Thanks Pawel F I have done all that. Just still left a big gap as how to upload from front end. Which now is no mystery..answer there is no way..until you figure it out yourself...thats ok ..half the battle is knowing what you have and what you don't. Now I know I will read up on all you suggest. Thanks.
