"auto refresh" where must i insert the code?

hello i want my page to auro refresh or auto load i found this line <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="180;url=http://yourdomain.com/">

where must i add this line of code to work?

I'm not sure if this will work, but for sure meta tags has to be added to /layout/blocks/head.php
