Gavick Pro you guys are HORRIBLE people!

The quickstart method is not QUICK or easy, it's a complete waste of time and effort and is NOT made for people like me who don't know that much about FTP servers and installing things.

I use BlueHost and ALL the WP themes I use have a simple method: install wordpress onto the domain.

Then I login to the domain.com/wp-admin and sign in.
I go to Appearance > Themes > Add New
I go and find the zip file for the theme and install it
Then I go and activate the theme.
Then I go to Tools > Import and download the WordPress importer, and select the XML file for the demo content.

BOOM! The demo content appears on the site, and I can begin building the site how I want it to look.

And completely out of my realm of expertise.

Can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE just give me the XML file for the DEMO CONTENT of FEST so I can install it in the EASY way I have devised? Otherwise, I will be asking for a refund and recommending nobody works with this company again.

but you have to know that most elements in the Fest theme are based on widgets - and unfortunately widget's can't be included in xml file, so if you don't want or can't install the quickstart you have to follow this configuration page:

You can import xml file, theme settings file and then you have to conifugre widgets manually (widgets settings section)

Regarding the quickstart installation - it's like normal every WordPress installation:

of course it's not possible to do it through you BlueHost or other host panel.

You keep giving links to the import file for Joomla. The XML file that you do have listed on this website doesn't work. I have been trying for days just to get the demo content set up and this is by far the worst experience I have had with a template. Rather pathetic.

All links are for WordPress, I've just checked this xml file and it's imported properly, did you use this importer, right?

but xml importing is not a part of the quickstart installation, after quicsktart installation (quickstart package) you have our theme exactly as on our demo out of the box.

Could you tell me, you want to install the quickstart (is it your new website) or you have existing website and want to change the theme? Send me a PM with backend access and I'll try to help you with that.

I have to agree - I have tried the quickstart - it didn't work!

I have installed WP normally (my host oneclick installer) and uploaded the theme normally.

It shouldn't be that hard!

Unfortunately quicsktart can't be installed on existing wordpress installation, because the quickstart is the latest version of wordpress with our theme, content and configuration included. If you have WordPress already installed, you'll have to follow this configuration page:
