How to add captions to images?

Hello,
Does this template support captions?

I tried adding a caption with the core image upload tool and it didn't work.

Any ideas?

What do You mean by captions?
On images in one of the modules, or perhaps on images inside an article?
Please be more specific.

Yes, images inside an article.

When I insert an image with a caption into an article (using the standard Joomla method in the editor), the caption does not appear with the image.

I dont see on default theme where captions are used, also in our template they might be not supported.
