'Your Slides' No Longer Works

Hi,

When we go into the Image Show GK4 module (v1.32) in the Joomla backend and click 'Your Slides', the slides are missing (they still appear correctly on the frontend, we just can't edit them anymore). Clicking the 'Add New Slide' button has no effect.

There is one Javascript error:
'null' is not an object

Line 15 of /modules/mod_image_show_gk4/admin/script.js:
document.id('IMAGE_SHOW_MANAGER-options').addEvent('click', function(){

Any ideas? Thanks much.

Hi,

What is returned when you run in the console the following code:

Code: Select all: document.id('IMAGE_SHOW_MANAGER-options')

?

I am having exactly the same problem with template Startup for Joomla 3.0. I've uninstalled it and install it again. After installing I can select the slides but when I save all of them disappear again.

I have the same problem. Could you please help? Can't upload any slide. No effect at all when click add new slide!!

I still don't get any full access to installation where problem exist, I've just run clean installation of module on latest Joomla! 3.x version and here is the result >> http://d.pr/i/Au0a all is working fine.

In my case.
I just install the startup templates v3.8 quickstart, then I open the Image Show GK4 module setting, even I don't change anything, save&close, and if I want to get the module setting back, the 'Your Slides' appear the error. Try it!

Could you provide me access to your installation ? Please make sure that magic quotes are disabled in your PHP configuration because this can cause problems with saving module options.

I'm using shared hosting. I think Magic Quotes is enabled by default, but when installation I already disabled it by following this -> http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?t=759993.

Am I need to disable the MQ now ?
If I only can fix this with placing php.ini, where I must place it ?

Please try to reinstall extension with the latest version. Last week we've released an update so maybe this will resolve your problem.

Add New Slide ... no response
Have not touched the module since installation.
Upgraded as discussed.

Won't work on chrome, FF, or Safari ... on a Mac

Still don`t Work

I have ORIGINAL Gavick Storebox in Joomla 3.1 mod_image_show_gk4_J!3 1.3.4.

All Addons are updated.

Safe-Mode Off
Open-Basedir No
Show Errors Off
Short Open-Tags On
File-Uploads On
Magic-Quotes Off
Register-Globals Off

I have access to php.ini
What can I do. Need help! The Storebox was so fine WITH the Header-Animation.

Could you provide me details to your installation ? Usually it is caused by Magic Quotes but here as I can see they are disabled.

I turned off the Magic Quotes and problem disappeared.

Please note that disabled magic quotes are required by Joomla! 3.0 installer and our extensions will not work properly with enabled magic quotes.
