Hello everyone,

I'm trying to configure the modules of my site.
I'm using gk_news to make (obviously) a news site.
The thing is i'm using joomla articles and trying to make my modules show featured articles only in order to identify the most important news in each module, but when i do this, i recieve a 1054 error in my site.
I already checked the articles in my category are featured.

Can you help me with this, please?
I attached 3 screenshots

Thanks

Hello,

As it was described in many other topics:

1) Upgrade the NSP GK5 module to the newest version - 1.8.0.6
2) Clear your browser cache or use other browser
3) Please go to the module back-end, wait till UI will fully loaded and click "Save & Close" button

DZIUDEK,

Thanks for your answer.

I'm using the NSP GK4 version, the one that comes with the template.
When i try to upate, it says "Loading update data from GavicPro Update service..." and nothing happens.

Can you help me please?

Thanks

In this case please download the NSP GK4 module: https://www.gavick.com/upd/mod_news_pro_gk4_J!3.zip

Again, thanks for your reply.

It didn't work, but i downloaded the new GK5 module.
Installed and configured it and everything seemed good, but when i publish it every module in my site becomes white, like empty.
You can see that here: http://www.visionfederal.com/new/

Thanks

NSP GK5 most probably will have conflict with GK4 so you should decide to use only one version of the module.

Seems like i already solved it, it was making conflict with the css so i changed it to not use it.
Now i need to make it look like the GK4 module, is that's possible?

Thanks

Unfortunately some styles - portal modes, are not available in GK5 version.

dziudek,

Since i installed GK5, all my modules running in GK4 stopped working properly, i cannot change any configuration because the button "save" doesn't work.
What happened? i cannot change all my modules to GK5, that would mean change all my site.

Please, help me

Please refresh your browser cache before accessing NSP GK4 module setting pages. Then it will work properly.

You're using very old Joomla! 3.1.* version so I had to downgrade the module to v.3.3.7.1 - now it is possible to save the settings.
