I am new to wordpress and I need help with post placement. I create posts but I don't know how to make them show up in specific places in the News Temaplate. For instance if i want something to show up in the "Breaking News" section what do I do to get it to go there?

I am using the WordPress "News" theme with the template. I can't figure out how to make a specific post go to a specific area.

This can be set in widgets.
"Breaking News" widget is placed in section "Sidebar" as first one. If You open this widget You will find, that the data source is set to "Categories slug" - which means that the "slug" name of category placed in next field ('politics' in quickinstall sample) is the source of articles.
Other sources can be used as well.
Other widgets are configured same way.
