I can't figure out why it works on some pages but not others. Any help would be appreciated.

its probably a javascript conflict which stops loading tabs script, there for nothing happens when you click on tabs..

Templates own modules and tabs have no problem working so if you have any additional modules or plugins which load in frontpage check them and disable them and see that your tabs are working. Once you find the problematic module/plugin then you can take it from there...
