I usually use no editior when creating and saving modules because it always destroys the formatting from the quickstarts. How do I use an editor to format my modules without losing all the styling from the quickstart. How do I get back the styling I lost? Http://www.thebig305.com/marketing in the what we do module in bottom 2.

It depends, but I will try to help you:
1) In Joomla all module in back-end can have "note" field where you can write warning for you "Do not edit with TinyMCE"
2) But in general it's because of HTML5 tags. But for example JCE allows you to use different settings:

3) Use extension which allows you to use HTML tags in special tags also in WYSIWYG mode.
For example check feature of Sourcerer (nonumber.nl)
