I based my jokes and funny pictures website (http://www.5aroof.net) on the AppsPro Tech template.
I need, however, the option to have a "next item" option (navigation items) on articles to users may easily and fluently move from one article to the next in a mouse click.

How may I enable this feature in this template?

Tank you,

HI,
nice idea...
By default all articles have this features but sometimes in disabled.
I suggest to check Options in Article Manager - in Article View tab - there should be on/off for article naviation system.

p.s.
About RTL direction - last week I've written this manual:
http://www.gavick.com/documentation/joo ... -template/

But I need more tips to help others...maybe soon you will build another website so we can help each other.

Meh... I reported the post instead of replying to it sorry...

I said in that post that native RTL is supported by the template but the guide is very useful- thank you.

Also, I am using K2 and the solution you proposed works for the native joomla article....
Any suggestions?

Thank you

:laugh: :laugh: Eli thanks for "Warez" report .. hehehe I'm Jack Sparrow - Pirate of Her Majesty. :laugh: :laugh:
No problem.

About Next/Prev in K2 - in each k2 category you have to change default setting:
1) Find & open: Item view options TAB
2) Item navigation -> Show
3) Save changes

If you still don't see it let me know it means that it was overridden by template.

p.s.
By the way, I have found also this: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... tems/22521

I think several things have been overridden by the template.
The option of show navigation is on, also the comments and many things that doesn't show.
For the meantime I need the navigation.

Let me know what I should do.
Thanx

Hi, I checked in default K2 and in our template and there are,

Yea... I see those on my website...
So in other words having a simple ' > ' and ' < ' on the top, bottom or sides of an article is not going to work by default!

Yeah, it's possible but request small customization in K2 view php file:
gk_appsprotech\html\com_k2\templates\default\item.php

find those two lines at the bottom line ~~400 :
Code: Select all
<a class="itemPrevious" href="<?php echo $this->item->previousLink; ?>">&laquo;
                  <?php echo $this->item->previousTitle; ?></a>
(....)
<a class="itemNext" href="<?php echo $this->item->nextLink; ?>"><?php echo $this->item->nextTitle; ?>
&raquo;</a>

and replace php code inside <a> </a> with ">" or link images with arrows....

sorry but this is customization, so I could give you only tips not full solution. But now it should be easy. For more ask via PM
