Recaptcha for Registry Popup

Hello, is there any way to add recaptcha functionality for the Register/Sign Up button popup? If so, how can i incorporate this to avoid spam without having to rely on email verification. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are using J!2.5 version, you can display reCaptcha on GK Register module.
First you need to enable "Captcha - ReCaptcha" plugin on plugin manager and provide the respective Public and Private Key's.

Them you need to set the default captcha plugin on Global Configurations > Site Settings
