Hi, I'm having major problems with the alternate url joomla generated.

The problem is the following.

"Spanish" main language
secondary language, "English"

page example "es-ES, /restablecer-contrasena.html"
page example "en-GB, /reset-password.html"

When I'm in the secondary language.
the "alternate link hreflang" is wrong.
I explain:
in the "canonical" link current language.
url maintains that language but does not change the other labels "alternate", ie does not generate the url of the language "alternate".
maintains the url of the active language in the "alternate" labels.

While clicking on the module to change the language, if you go to page and corresponding url.

After much research I think it's no problem with my configuration.

I hope I understand. I'm using google translate.

Real example:
https://www.eco-taxi.es/en/remind-password.html
https://www.eco-taxi.es/es/recordar-contrasena.html

I have also written to joomla and forum they believe is the problem of the template.
Thank you

Hi

I do not think it's related with any of our products, You should be talking to joomla developers about this. But just to be sure please remove all the unused menu links and clean trash as well. In case some of the demo content is overwritting links.

Hello, thanks for answering.

I followed in his footsteps and many other things but the problem persists.
I'm still in Joomla forum.

If anyone has any information that could help me, I would be very grateful.

I leave the link if anyone has this problem that can follow the thread.

Thank you so much.

Hi

No idea. Please try maybe select all the menu options and hit Rebuild button on top of the page. Try to use a repair function on menu when using some mysql manager, this may help if problem is because of some cross indexes issue.

if, thanks for your reply.
I have tried everything I know, this was one of the first steps.

I have written to joomla forum and not found solution.
I enter the forum administrator as superuser on my website.

I miss testing instalation.. without plugins. and I have the same problem.

this is generating thousands of 404s me.
in the end I disabled the option of these labels.
  in the plugin languages.

I'm sure it's a problem of joomla (SEF)

Thank you

Hi

Yes, looks like it. I have seen that it was reported on Joomla forum already, but there is no answer in any of the threads yet. I'm afraid we will not be able to help since it's coming directly from joomla. Try maybe use redirections component to not generate this 404 error pages.
