Directing customer to private page via login

Hi guys,

Been browsing unsucessfully so far, but looking for some advice here then.
Been setting up a site for a customer with the quark joomla template. Want to make it easy for him to add articles and make them private to certain registered users only. He want to post video of private sales.
I want to keep him in the frontend of the site. created a login button. was hoping to use the quark blog.
Just don't know how to add articles and videos on it as admin.
