Hello,
When I click the 'link enabled images' or 'READ MORE' links I get sent a '404 Error' page instead of the article I've linked it to. How can I fix this?

Joomla!1.5, FireFox, GomuProject template, http://www.terrablack.com try one of the three images below the photoslider and click the 'read more' buttons and you'll see the error page i'm speaking of. How can I stop this from happening?

thanks much,
terra

Hi

Did you change the index.php... for example: did you remove the component on the index.php file?

Cheers ;)

Hello,
No I'm not even sure where that is. It will link to the 'Example Pages and Links' article that was part of the demo but when I try to link it to one of the new articles I created I get the 404 error.

Check if you have this code on the index.php

Code: Select all
<div id="mainbody">
<jdoc:include type="component" />
</div>

Also, try to clear cache.

Cheers

Hi, I checked and I do have that code in the index.php file. I also cleared my cache but I still get this error:

404 - Component not found

You may not be able to visit this page because of:

1. an out-of-date bookmark/favourite
2. a search engine that has an out-of-date listing for this site
3. a mistyped address
4. you have no access to this page
5. The requested resource was not found.
6. An error has occurred while processing your request.

Please try one of the following pages:

* Home Page

If difficulties persist, please contact the System Administrator of this site.

Component not found

any other suggestions?

thanks much.

Did you use htacceess and SEF with mod_rewrite??

I am nearly sure you did..
But this has nothing to do with Gomu Project template...moving post to general config
