I have tested this using two different templates currently using AppSite. When trying to add the Facebook API ID in the Social API Section with the template after clicking Save or Save and Close it redirects to a 406 Error Web-Site.

I had this issue once.

1st make sure the API is open, for instance, if your FB account is set to private in most things like posts, it will block API.

2nd Make sure the page or API has not been reported to FB, that also generates problems.

3rd If all those fail, generate the API again.
