Hi,

I just installed the template for Joomla 1.7, but it doesn't look quite right. I took two screenshots, so you can see what I mean. Thanks for the help!

Hi

Please try reinstall template to be sure there were no broken files uploaded to server. Also see if disabling joomla cache makes a difference.

As last please show me Your site.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I have reinstalled it several times, but it always ends up looking the same. I even installed the template for Joomla 1.5, but even that didn't look quite right. I looked at the cache settings and it was disabled already. Here is the adress:

Hi

This is odd. Site looks perfect for me. Please tell me what browser You are looking it at and if You do not have any additional stuff installed to browser. Try clear site and browser cache maby it was installed badly the first time and with other installations the same file from cache was loaded.

If I remember right that template is either missing a closing tag on the right modules or something like that. I remember it from customizing that template for a customer. Also right1 and right2 need

Code: Select all
overflow: hidden!important;

As well the adding modules to right bottom.

Hi there. I've just updated my template to the Memovie for J!1.7 version 2.4 and my right module positions are now floating to the left, and now have the same problem as mongo2006 plus my article titles ain't showing anymore. The site is http://www.savibes.com. Please click on any of the articles and you'll see the right modules falling to the bottom left side. All right hand modules have the same problem since upgrade.

teitbite: I'm using Firefox 8.0 and Internet Explorer 9, but it looks the same in both. I even looked at the site on my computer at work, and it was the same on that too.

I cleared the browser cache, but that didn''t seem to make a difference either.

Well, I have Joomla installed on the server already (if that counts as additional stuff).

mongo2006: Where can I find those modules? In what .css file(s)? Do you remember by any chance?

Thanks teitbite and thanks to the GK programming team for the template update. Memovie for J!1.7 version 2.5 has solved most of the issues. I still have one bizarre problem, and I have tried and failed to solve it. I don't know if this is a problem with the template or not. My article titles are still not showing on the Memovie template although they had previously been showing. They also show when I assign a different template. Please visit http://www.savibes.com and click on any article, then you'll notice that the article title won't show. Any help would be much appreciated.

It just redirects me to the download page, when I click download on the update page:

https://www.gavick.com/support/updates. ... ate&id=558

That is the page I'm referring to. I'm not sure what file I need to download.

@Kong Bao You acctualy need to download the template again which is always in a latest version and the list of files under update page will tell You which files needs to be replaced.

@spoony looks like the part of the code is not present. Please tell me how it looks like when You rename /html/com_k2 to /html/_com_k2 if this operation makes title to show please send me FTP access to fix it for You.

Thanks @teitbite. I changed the name of the folder to the name you specified, and that DID NOT make any change to the article titles.

@teitbite. I have however renamed /html/com_content to /html/_com_content and the titles are now showing. I figured that you thought i was using k2 for my articles. i am using the default joomla one.
