Tryin to display images in menu items instead of title text

Hi,

Following instructions at [1] I am trying to display images instead of title texts in menu items.

However, It doesn't work, no image, and menu item title remains. I am using World News II tpl and GK Extra Menu (also tried the others).

I wonder if something in the temlete may override this functionality...

Yes, this not work with GK Extra Menu, sorry.
But you want to build only image menu? without names, are you sure?
Maybe it's better to use Image Menu Module from JED not standard with hacks.
