Left_top VS right_top

Hi i am trying to configure the template to my taste, but when ever i use "LEFT_TOP" as my position in a module it will use "50%" of the horizontal space ... But when i use "RIGHT_TOP" it uses 25%.. i want the left position to also be 25%.

it is like this now:

[ module with position left_top 50% of the total template width] [ content also 50%]

and right looks like this:

[ main 75% of the total template width ] [module with right_top 25%]

for some reason the template makes the left side bigger then right side how can i solve this?

You can fully adjust the width of the template in the template managar just replied to myself incase anybody else needs this information aswell :>
